PP-Langglasfaserverstärkter Thermoplast (PP-LGF)

Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene (PP-LGF) is a high-performance thermoplastic composite engineered for structural applications requiring superior strength, stiffness, and long-term durability.

By combining polypropylene with long glass fibers, PP-LGF delivers an optimal balance of lightweight design, mechanical performance, and cost efficiency—making it an ideal alternative to short glass fiber plastics and metal components.

What Is Polypropylene (PP)?

Polypropylene (PP) is one of the most widely used general-purpose plastics, offering excellent chemical resistance, good processability, and competitive cost performance.

However, unmodified PP has limitations such as relatively low strength, stiffness, and impact resistance at low temperatures. To meet demanding structural requirements, PP is commonly reinforced with fibers.
